Sales & Business Development Executive

Full Time

Location: Hybrid between Office, Hungerford, London & surrounding areas for client meetings.

The Role

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join an independent British luxury brand as it moves into a new phase of growth. Newly funded, London Velvet is starting a fresh chapter with endless opportunities.

The role works directly with London Velvet's Founder to lead and execute new business. Your focus will be driving new business and partnerships, converting leads, and turning interest into long-term relationships. You’ll be supported with strong brand materials, beautiful product, and creative marketing campaigns — but your mission is simple: sell, sell, sell.

This is the perfect role for a proactive, eager and outgoing individual who has a can-do attitude and commercially focused outlook, sharing our end goal of driving sales and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance

  • Deliver on monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain CRM or sales tracking tools for pipeline management
  • Provide regular reporting to the founder on lead status and conversion

New Business Development

  • Drive wholesale and corporate gifting sales across UK, EU, and international markets
  • Identify and pitch to new retail stockists and partners
  • Convert warm leads into long-term relationships
  • Own outreach strategy with a focus on revenue generation
  • Attend meetings, virtual and in-person, to pitch and present

Light Marketing Support

  • Support alignment with campaign launches for sales outreach
  • Attend select events or pop-ups to support in-person brand representation
  • Feed insights from prospects back to the team (e.g. product feedback, pricing, interest)

Must haves:

  • Target-driven and confident in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Friendly, professional, and good at building trust
  • Experienced in fashion, lifestyle, gifting, or design-led retail (2–4 years ideal)
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Commercially sharp with a passion for beautiful product
  • Experience in Shopify/Klaviyo a bonus

Salary: £40k Base salary + Commission
