Last week, we set off to explore the captivating cultural delights of Marrakech, aiming to make the most of our final moments of unbridled freedom before the arrival of our new addition in a few weeks time. With it's endless sunshine, the feeling of total escapism into a country full of culture and only a quick flight from London. Often quicker than a countryside jaunt. It's a hard location to beat! Here's my thoughts on a postcard of what to pack, where to shop, eat, cocktail & sleep.

TO SHOP

Mustapha Blaoui's - Aladdin's Cave of Moroccan furniture and rugs

TO LUNCH

L'Mida Rooftop - right in the heart of the Souk's

TO COCKTAIL

El Fenn

To Dinner

Comptoir Darna for Belly Dancing infused dinners

To Sleep

Riad 72, a boutique hotel within the medina. Perfect spot post lunch for Mojitos poolside on the roof.

TO PACK

My packing list covered all bases: a Bottle Bag for mountain hikes, a Phone pouch for Medina exploration, a spacious Washbag with internal compartments, and a Metallic Clutch paired with our Chunky strap for secure, hands-free style for dinners out.Of course the chic passport holder with slots for your boarding pass and cards, adding a touch of sophistication to your essentials.
